Bulk billed eye tests
Changes in our eyesight progress naturally over time, in particular our eyes’ focusing ability.
But the good news is most vision problems are avoidable. So it’s important to monitor your eyesight through regular testing – every two years is recommended under the age of 65. We’ll check the strength and control of the muscles in your eyes, test the clarity and sharpness of your vision and check for even the smallest change or eye health issue.

Children's vision assessment
It’s vital for our kids’ learning and development to have clear vision and healthy eyes. And the best way to ensure that is through regular testing from a young age. We recommend all children have their eyes tested before starting school to make sure they’re beginning their education journey from the best position possible. With the increased use of digital technology in our children it is even more important to have regular check ups.
We test all aspects of vision, from colour and binocular vision to eye muscle control and focusing stamina. In some cases, your child may be prescribed exercises to help develop their vision and focusing ability.
Glasses within the hour
With our on-site glasses lab, we can make your new glasses within an hour for single vision lenses.
Perfect for emergencies when you’ve broken or lost your glasses and need a fast and professional same-day service. And if you have a favourite pair of old frames, we can fit lenses on the spot and also repurpose old glasses while you’re waiting for new glasses to be made. We’re the only practice in the area to offer this service, where other practices have to send frames off-site to a lab to be fitted.
